At Yodeli, we are committed to supporting the well-being of communities in the Alebtong and Lira Districts of Northern Uganda. Our initiatives focus on empowering malnourished children, youth, and women through beekeeping projects and nutrition initiatives. By providing opportunities for economic growth and improved nutrition, we strive to create a brighter future for all members of these communities.

We specialize in empowering communities within the Alebtong and Lira Districts of Northern Uganda through our beekeeping and nutrition initiatives. By providing comprehensive beekeeping training, supplying high-quality equipment, and offering ongoing support, we enable locals to establish and manage successful apiaries. Our efforts not only enhance honey production but also contribute to improved nutrition and sustainable livelihoods, fostering resilience and prosperity within these communities.

Our Story

Our journey at Yodeli began with a crucial financial boost from The Enoch Initiative, a US-based organization, in 2021. This support enabled us to kickstart our beekeeping and nutrition initiatives in the Alebtong and Lira Districts of Northern Uganda. Prior to this, we forged an informal partnership with VSO ICS from 2017 to 2019, laying the groundwork for our community-focused endeavors. Though disrupted by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment to empowering communities remains steadfast, driving us forward in our mission.
